Polyacrylamide is water-soluble linear polymer with high molecular weight.  According to the ionic character, it can be divided into three types: anion, cation and non-ion
It can absorb suspended solid particles in water, bridge and neutralize the charges between particles, and agglomerate the particles to form large flocs. It can effectively improve solid-liquid separation process in municipal and all industrial wastewater treatment, especially in sludge dewatering in different unit like belt press, plate press, screw press, and decanter centrifuge.
