Octydecyl glycerol (GTCC) is a high purity oil formed by the ester of caprylic acid/capric acid and glycerol.
It is an excellent moisturizing oil, with good spreading property, so that the skin has a smooth but not greasy feeling, easy to be absorbed by the skin. It plays a good role in the uniformity and delicacy of cosmetics, making the skin lubricated and glossy. It can be used as the base material of moisturizing factor, the stabilizer, antifreeze and homogenizing agent of cosmetics.
In addition, octydecyl glycerin has emulsifying and stabilizing effect, which improves the quality and shelf life of cosmetics because of its excellent antioxidant properties.
