The
converter
circuit
supplies
a
stable
excitation
current
to
the
excitation
coil
in
the
electromagnetic
flow sensor.
The
preamplifier
takes
the
induced
electromotive
force
from
the
sensor,
amplifies
it,
and
converts
it
into standard
current
or frequency
signals
which
may
in
turn
be
used
for
displaying,
controlling
and
regulating
flow rates & totalized flows.
