MOUNT OLIVE – On the evening of Sept. 16, firefighters from Mount Olive and a Wayne County EMS unit were dispatched to an entrapment call to the Mount Olive Laundromat on N. Breazeale Ave. Mount Olive Fire Chief Greg Wiggins, was the first to arrive on the scene and found a small child had climbed into one of the toy vending machines in the rear of the building.
Mount Olive Engine 2 and Rescue 23 responded to the scene. Chief Wiggins called for bolt cutters and a pry bar to free the child from the machine. animal toy
Capsule Ball Toys Firefighters cut off the lock and were able to pry the door open and safely remove the child where he was checked out by EMS paramedics on the scene.
